ANNAN, ENDEAVOUR AND NORMANBY CATCHMENT'S COMMUNITY, PRODUCER TECHNOLOGY UPTAKE - BUILDING DROUGHT RESILIENCE FIELD DAY. Held on Saturday May 18 at Copperhead Road
We held our Annan, Endeavour and Normanby Catchment's Community Field Day, on Saturday 18th of May. Just as we are starting to dry out from our Wet Season. It was very well attended, welcoming our long-term Indigenous and non-Indigenous producers from our country. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our community.
‘This project is jointly supported by the Integrated Engagement and Capacity Building project through the Queensland Government’s Queensland Reef Water Quality Program.’’ This extension project is also being done in partnership with Agrifutures Australia. have been involved in providing extension services for our Annan Endeavour, Normanby and Lakeland Producers. By having theses Workshops and Field days we hope to expose our community to modern innovative technology.
This time we had LYRO Robotics Robot Picker and Packer, the IN-FARM Artificial intelligence Weeds Spraying Quad Spray Trials, Agrifuture’s Innovation manager, amongst the many participants.
Hopefully this will not only help our environment, but we will also see a cost reduction and an improvement of community health and well-being. Like most we want to look after our country and to make it sustainable for the long term. We thank all our people who make these opportunities possible.
